Talc: Better Stiffness and Better Cost

At Washington Penn Plastic, we custom formulate materials to meet your specific property requirements.  Talc is one of the most common reinforcing agents we use to uniquely compound products. Talc-filled polypropylene improves stiffness and high-temperature performance.  The increase in stiffness means that talc can be used to decrease part thickness while maintaining part integrity, thus providing cost savings. As such, talc is used in many applications you use every day, including automotive parts, dishwasher tubs and doors, fan blades and microwaveable containers.
